AT BASEMENT FOUNDATION and CURTAIN CONCRETES 1- The top of the concrete ground is cleaned from the substances such as dust and sand by sweeping. 2- For a good adhesion, one or two level of lining is spread with bristle brush. 3- One of membrane’s surfaces is adhered by melting with torch over the lean concrete. 4- Overlap length must be at least 10 cm. 5- By melting overlap places with torch, engagement is provided with thin-ended trowel. 6- At least 40 cm membrane is made flowed to outside from Lean Concrete and is released in that way. 7- The second level membrane is adhered in a way to center the joints of the first level membrane. 8- After the foundation is laid and the curtain concrete is poured, 40 cm membrane coming out under the foundation is adhered to the curtain concrete vertically. 9- 2 levels of membrane are applied to the curtain concrete as passing over the ground surface by at least 30 cm.  RECOMMENDATIONS a) In LPG tube, high pressure regulator should be used. b) Torch should be latched and large headed. c) As the first level of membrane P-4000 and as the second level of membrane P-3000 or as the first level of membrane F-3000 and the second level of membrane P-3000 may be used. d) The membrane should be adhered to the curtain concrete vertically. e) While doing filling, the isolation should be protected against tearing and punctures. | Click to watch the application |
